Bryan & Tanner - Our Wedding

My husband (!) Bryan and I originally planned on getting married in May of 2020, in a movie-theater-turned-bar-and-restaurant in the heart of Brooklyn in New York City. Though the wedding didn’t happen that year, and I ended up adapting the original creative to suit our new location (Vegas baby!), I felt like the work needed a home none the less, and here we are!

To design the creative suite, I leaned on the space itself, playing upon the colors and general aesthetic, thinking about how the design might enhance what was already there. I also art directed a portrait by queer illustrator Hey Rooney, adding a warm and personal touch to a wedding system that’s sophisticated and sexy, with a nod to the movies, which have always brought Bryan and I together.
