Macy’s Holiday Celebrations 2022

This year’s campaign additions are extra special in that they further echo a core focus of my team’s mission: to support the variety of professionals who work on our events. Beyond creative appeal, which (hey I’m admittedly biased here) we’ve got in spades, how does the work show up to enhance the “show” itself, helping the people - from sculptors to event producers - who utilize our work?

Upon meeting with the various department leads, we produced creative that addressed each team’s specific strategies and needs. We worked on illustrations - Santa’s Workshop - that were specifically designed for larger scale displays, as to support our partners in Santaland and within Toys R Us. We created work - Santa With Gift Box - that referenced the Macy’s holiday campaign, as requested by our Marketing Team. We produced the brand new Santa’s Sleigh Parade Float illustration, on behalf of the Advertising team’s hope to further link the Parade and Holiday Celebrations. The examples are numerous, beyond those listed here, but our goal was realized in each, as it is within every creative campaign: to support our team at large, both within the strength of the work itself and the speed and efficiency of our delivery. And damn does it all look (and sound) fantastic.
